Privacy policy

Short version: we collect as little as we can. There are no accounts, no cookies and no ads.

What we collect

  • When you browse: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser and pages requested, to run and secure the site. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • Usage analytics: we use PostHog to count visits and see which pages and tools are used (page viewed, referrer, device type, approximate country, and events such as using the calculator or starting checkout). It runs without cookies and stores nothing on your device, and we don't build profiles of individual visitors.
  • When you use the calculator: the numbers and any text you paste stay in your browser. We only record that the calculator was used.
  • When you buy: checkout is handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. They collect your name, email, billing address and payment details to process the payment, handle tax and send your receipt. We receive your email, payment ID and purchase details; we never see your card number.
  • When you email us: we keep your message and email address to reply and to handle support or refunds.

How we use it

To deliver the product you bought, provide support and refunds, meet legal and tax obligations, and keep the site secure. We don't sell personal data, and we don't send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Who processes it

  • Vercel — hosting.
  • PostHog — cookieless usage analytics, hosted in the United States.
  • Dodo Payments — payments, tax and receipts. See their privacy policy on dodopayments.com.

The Recipe Pack and your data

The recipes run on your machine and send data directly from you to the Jev provider you choose (TypeSafe or a gateway). That data never passes through JevHub. Check your provider's data retention settings before sending customer information.

How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Support emails are deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@jevhub.io. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have further rights, including complaining to your local data protection authority.
