A tiny ad blocker, for fun

A Chrome extension that asks Jev whether each page element is an ad and removes it.

How it uses Jev

The single judgement, 'is this element an ad?', is Jev's; everything else is plain code. The author is clear it's an experiment, not a real ad blocker.

It's an example of a wider pattern: see Jev for ad and creative classification for when it fits, the questions to ask and what it costs.

Summary written by JevHub. Figures are the author's own; we haven't reproduced them. The project belongs to its author.

🚨 I gave the Trump vs Kamala debate a live BS meter using Jev every sentence, both candidates, 5 yes/no questions each 1,191 Jev calls / 1.18M tokens / 415 ms median total cost : $0.0497 same questions for both, clips picked by one fixed rule, not a fact-check

I built a browser extension with Jev @typesafeai that can hide/collapse posts on X based on natural language. It's so fast that it's not noticeable and insanely cheap...this must be the future of "ad blockers" and content firewalls.

been playing with Jev from @typesafeai and built unsaidbrief the idea: we give AI builders vague prompts, then spend hours fixing decisions we never actually made paste your brief and it uses Jev to flag missing decisions and possible conflicts, with probabilities you can see
