Question 1

What is Jev?

Accepted Answer

Jev is a decision model from TypeSafe AI, released on 15 September 2026. It doesn't generate text. You send it an input and typed questions (Choice, Score or Noul), and it returns an answer with a probability for each option and a confidence score, in under half a second.

Question 2

How much does Jev cost?

Accepted Answer

$0.042 per million input tokens, with output free (as of 22 September 2026). In practice that's a few cents per 1,000 emails, leads or tickets. Use the cost calculator for your own workload.

Question 3

What can't Jev do?

Accepted Answer

It can't write, explain, summarise, code or plan. When the output has to be text, use a language model such as GPT or Claude, and use Jev to decide which items are worth sending to it.

Question 4

How fast is Jev?

Accepted Answer

Reported response times are 70–500 ms per request, depending on input size and provider.

Question 5

Is JevHub affiliated with TypeSafe AI?

Accepted Answer

No. JevHub is an independent resource. We don't resell Jev access and we aren't paid by TypeSafe.

Question 6

Where do your cost numbers come from?

Accepted Answer

From TypeSafe's published pricing, one independent measured test, and builders' public posts. Every figure on the costs page is labeled official, third-party or self-reported, with a link to its source.

Question 7

Does JevHub run Jev on my data?

Accepted Answer

No. Nothing on this site calls Jev. The calculator runs in your browser, and the recipes run on your machine with your own API key.

Question 8

What's in the Marketing Recipe Pack?

Accepted Answer

10 decision recipes for marketing and growth work, each with the exact Jev questions, the input to send, the thresholds to act on and the cost to run. It ships as a ZIP of Markdown, JSON and a small TypeScript helper.

Question 9

What else do I need?

Accepted Answer

A Jev API key from TypeSafe AI or a gateway such as Vercel AI Gateway or OpenRouter; usage is billed by them, typically cents. Running the recipes means running a small script or wiring the questions into a tool you already use.

Question 10

How do I get the files after paying?

Accepted Answer

You're sent straight to a download page after checkout. If you lose the link, reply to your receipt email or contact us with your payment ID and we'll resend it.

Question 11

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If the pack isn't useful to you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. See the refund policy for details.

Question 12

Do I need an account on JevHub?

Accepted Answer

No. There are no accounts on JevHub. Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments.
